About Us – Sacred Sound Healing Arts Centre SSHAC Community

SSHAC is a Community Health and Wellbeing centre, staffed only by volunteers.

We are a non-profit making organisation.

SSHAC aims to promote such other charitable purposes as may from time to time be determined.

We encourage local therapists and workshop leaders to hire our rooms and work with individuals and groups over a wide range of activities.

We aim to promote activities which are artistic and creative and which promote health through social and physical activity and one to one support by counsellors for the wellbeing of the Community.

So far we have hosted Mind Body Spirit, Yoga and Yoga Laughter Classes, sound healing, meditation, dance, drumming and keep fit classes.

We have exhibition space for artists and a shop where you can sell your homemade crafts, jewellery or artwork.

In 2017 our resident therapist Angela Zillah will be leading Diploma training in Reiki and Sound Therapy. Angie also runs group sessions twice a week under her trade name ‘Phoenix Within’. Individuals can book a one to one session for tailor-made sound and colour therapy.

We leased the premises on 1st September 2016 and have spent many months turning the old nightclub into a safe and comfortable place. We now hope to encourage the local community to use our facilities, so if you want a Knit and Natter session, arts workshop or a Games café then we would love to hear from you!

We also welcome rental of our rooms to host meetings or courses. Our room rental prices start from £8.00 per hour, we have a meeting room that can house up to 14 people, we also have a main hall with a coffee bar which can house up to 60 people (sitting).

Sacred Sound Healing Art Centre is a place where people can come to improve their emotional and physical wellbeing. We aim to empower each other by providing classes, courses and therapies in a very supportive environment.

We hope that you come along and support your local Centre you can be assured of a very warm welcome from Angie and the SSHAC Crew.

If you would like to discuss any of the above with Angie please contact her on 07806305304.
